Chartre Labyrinth

Whoops...WAY late on posting this little basket. Just ran across the pics again on iCloud. The design turned out great, I want to make more of these as little portable personal labyrinths ;-)

Dates: 1/1/14 - June 2, 2014, 6 weaving hours
Size: 1.75" H x 1.5" W
Design: Chartres Labyrinth
Materials: hemp, waxed linen (4 ply Butterscotch, Maroon)
Notes: Gifted to Coll Thrush

Here's a little to go with it too. Start your eyes at the entry point at the top of the basket and make your way (fairly quickly, sorry) to the center at the bottom of the basket.

Wicker Round Basket

Dates: 3/24/12, 4 weaving hours
Size: 3.5" H x 7" W
Materials: Round reed
Notes: Class at Weaving Works with Marcy Johnson. My first wicker basket!

Egg Basket

Dates: 3/24/12, 4 weaving hours
Size: 7" H x 10" L x 8.5" W
Materials: Round and flat reed
Notes: Class at Weaving Works with Marcy Johnson. Just in time for Easter...my first reed basket. A twin-bottomed egg basket. Originally from Europe, it is often referred to as an Appalachia basket here in the States.
