Egg Basket
Dates: 3/24/12, 4 weaving hours
Size: 7" H x 10" L x 8.5" W
Materials: Round and flat reed
Notes: Class at Weaving Works with Marcy Johnson. Just in time for Easter...my first reed basket. A twin-bottomed egg basket. Originally from Europe, it is often referred to as an Appalachia basket here in the States.

Cedar Box
This is my very first cedar basket from a basket workshop I took with master Duwamish weaver Mary Lou Slaughter. Mary Lou is a fantastic teacher and with her great humor made the workshop as fun as it was instructive. I look forward to future workshops with her.
Card Weaving
